KHD Electronics Co., Ltd. was founded in Osaka City as Keihan Densen Seizosho or Keihan Electric Wiring Plant in 1950. It was incorporated as Keihan Electric Wiring Co., Ltd. in 1956. In an effort to have its products better known in the market, the company further changed its name to KHD Electronics Co., Ltd. in 1987 simply because the KHD (Kei-Han Densen) logo had already been shown on its products. Favoured by the warm support and collaboration of our customers, we have successfully extended our transactions by obtaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates for our Osaka and Chiba factories. Centring on these factories, we have boosted our product varieties for wires and cables, including the coaxial version, used in the automotive, machinery, and communication industries. In response to the recently strong call for environmental protection, KHD has proactively come up with eco-friendly wires and cables containing no halogen and it started early on the developing of solar cables used in solar power generation systems. With these achievements taken into account, Underwriters Laboratories Inc. granted us UL certifications for our products.
